Unique Water Features – Sheer Descents

Many times an existing ‘berm’ or hill does not exist in the landscape to build a natural waterfall, or maybe the design and feel of the property or pool calls for a much more formal look. Sheer descent waterfalls produce a clear arc of water, projecting away from any wall. The flow of water can be adjusted to create a range of effects from an almost silent, glass-like sheet of water to a cascading effect into a pool.

Sheer descents can be built from natural stone or purchased directly from a supplier and integrated into the retaining wall or water feature.

These sheer descents can produce a wide range of water effects and can easily be adjusted to suit any mood or environment. Adding lighting to these features creates an entirely new element that can be enjoyed into the evening hours.
